Experimental music makers and adventurous listeners will find refuge in the enchanting premises of the convent Fortna for one slow Saturday afternoon. Besides an intense dive into the tranquil music and innovative sounds performed by top artists, you will also be able to immerse yourself in the world of quietude through workshops, soundwalk, a tea bar, and a reading room.
The 4th edition of the Prague Quiet Music Festival introduces as principal guests the Oslo-based ensemble asamisimasa. The centrepiece will be a new extended piece for asamisimasa and the Prague Quiet Music Collective composed by quiet music legend Jürg Frey (Switzerland), as well as new pieces by Oslo-based composers Magdaléna Manderlová, Luis Fernando Amaya and Ferdinand Schwarz, and a new piece for asamisimasa by PQMC artistic director Ian Mikyska.
